Grace is the love, support, and encouragement that fills our hearts with joy.
Unknown
Many rites of passage and ceremonies exist to celebrate life at any point in its existence. A benediction at an event, an invocation prior to a session, or even a toast at a celebration can be performed by many, and done so in a secular manner. Often, there is an attempt to include those of any religion; however, those without religion may feel excluded in these attempts or even as a second-class participant. These secularist attempts are mostly designed to not endorse a specific religion, but they still endorse being religious.
There’s no need to remove these ceremonial components altogether when they can simply be conducted without religious context. With a humanist approach, we can celebrate life together and whenever.

Invocation/Benediction
Tailored to your group or governing body, a humanist invocation brings together all parties, all persons, and all representees providing a united ground in which to begin your session with grace and compassion in mind. The humanist benediction is like an invocation but is meant to close the session.
Grace
Some may think of it as saying a prayer before hand, but in its simplicity, grace is a time when we express our love, support, and encouragement. We give thanks to those that bring us this kindness and we offer it in return. Similar to an invocation, a humanist grace is inclusive of all, not just the religious.
Other Ceremony or Rite of Passage
We sit together to develop what you need and how a humanist approach can assist in bringing your ceremony or rite of passage to life.
Planning Consultations
Sometimes a ceremony needs more than the usual planning time. You can schedule extra planning and discussion time with a celebrant as necessary.
