Usagi-Warren Services started in 2023 by Lenis Bryant Warren in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex in Texas and includes two branches of services: https://Celebrant.Usagi-Warren.pw is the humanist celebrant branch of services.
Mr. Warren received his celebrant endorsement from The Humanist Society in late 2023. Rites of passage and ceremonies exist throughout various cultures around the world, but are often structured and conducted per the religious context affiliated with a culture. Mr. Warren recognized the deficiency of such services without religious context. He even experienced the difficulties of obtaining these in his own life when looking into a Justice of the Peace to officiate his wedding—the J.P. had a set way of conducting marriages and included Christian content within his deliverance. Seeking the humanist celebrant endorsement was the first step in correcting a societal deficiency to celebrate life for Mr. Warren and others like him.
Embracing culture and identity was always a part of Mr. Warren’s character. The richness of culture fascinated Mr. Warren as a child, and as a teen he was able to experience some cultures as he was immersed in them as an ex-patriot. Living abroad, he found culture shock was minimized by his interest to learn. Later, this interest resulted in a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of North Texas in Denton, TX. From 2010-2014, Mr. Warren could be found delivering discussion panels at conventions regarding the integration of cultures into fandom genres, like steampunk.
Much of Mr. Warren’s life was spent living in various parts of Texas, with the majority in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. Based in Flower Mound, TX, Mr. Warren provides humanist celebrant services to Texas, and soon to places further.
